We got a call from Toast the other week inviting us to speak about the challenges restaurateurs are facing because of the intense inflation over the past few years. They contacted US because while most others are increasing prices, we rolled ours back by implementing money-saving strategies without compromising size or quality, and passed the savings on to our loyal customer base across all Flip The Bird locations. Was it a crazy feeling to be addressing a crowd of Boston chefs we’ve only read about or seen on TV? YES! Was it pretty validating to realize the path we chose could work and that others may try to adopt it? Also YES!
